I am experiencing camera issues. What should I do?

Follow these steps to troubleshoot your camera issues.

0.5. If you have connected your camera using a USB port, you may need to install software from the device manufacturer. If the installation isn't completed, the camera may not work. 

1. Are you running another program that uses your camera? Turn off that source to enable GazeShare. If you are unsure if another program is running, you can check your Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac). To improve your experience using GazeShare, we suggest that you close as many other programs and tabs on your computer as possible.

2. Make sure the correct camera is selected in Google Chrome.

Click on the camera icon in the top right of your Chrome browser. Choose which camera you would like to use. Refresh the page.

3. Do you have strict firewalls that might be blocking your computer from using GazeShare properly? Try changing the network, for example, to the hotspot from your phone and check if GazeShare works.
